The shop its name is taken from the meaning of the word as it is used in
photography -
Parallaxe, die; -, -n [griech. parallaxis = Vertauschung,
Abweichung, zu: parallassein = vertauschen]:
1. (Physik) Winkel, der entsteht, wenn ein Objekt
von zwei verschiedenen Standorten aus betrachtet wird, u.
der als scheinbare Verschiebung des Objekts vor dem Hintergrund zu
beobachten ist. 2. (Astron.) Entfernung eines Gestirns, die
mithilfe der Parallaxe (1) gemessen wird.
3. (Fot.) Unterschied zwischen dem Ausschnitt eines
Bildes im Sucher u. auf dem Film, der durch die von Sucher u.
Objektiv gebildete Parallaxe (1) entsteht.
